MEET THE TEAM
FOUNDER & PARTNER
Hunter Harris offers decades of experience in the financial analysis of real estate development and the procurement of leverage and equity on real estate developments. His depth of experience in the industry allows him to find efficiencies and enhance the entire development process.
Hunter has completed many projects with complicated incentive structures via successful public private partnerships including Tax Increment Financing, Community Improvement Districts and New Markets Tax Credits. He has an integral strategy of creating win/win partnerships for complex projects utilizing incentives for financing.
He has a background overseeing build-to-suit programs, renovations and re-positioning of various development opportunities, including retail, hospitality, senior living and mixed-use projects. In addition, Hunter has completed many value add renovations to multi-family communities.
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION
John Puent has nearly 25 years of experience in the construction industry. With a wide breadth of successful project experience, exceptional attention to detail, deep expertise, and pure talent, he adds considerable value to the Flint team.
John has managed over $800 million of construction projects and has completed nearly 20 million square feet of industrial, institutional, and retail developments throughout his career. In the multi-family and student housing markets, he’s completed over 2,000 residential units.
Focusing on the industrial warehouse market sector since 2014, John has successfully negotiated contracts for over 30 speculative and build-to-suit projects across ten states.
Eric Gromacki brings many years of construction management experience to the Flint Team. He has built an expertise in knowing and understanding the industrial warehouse market after successfully managing over $100 million and 3.5 million square feet of warehouse projects prior to joining Flint.
As Flint’s Development Manager, he helps direct industrial warehouse construction phasing, scheduling, and procurement, bringing significant expertise to each project phase. Flint also values his strong ability to develop relationships with local municipalities for support of projects.
His passion for construction and the industrial warehouse market is shown through his hard work and his never-ending drive. He has a strong team-first mentality, always focusing on helping others and the project teams to get to the finish line.
Steve brings over a decade of project management experience to the Flint team. His primary functions at Flint focus on managing the due diligence, construction, and design processes for all of Flint’s industrial and multifamily developments in the Western Continental United States. Steve’s strongest talents are his attention to detail, his work ethic, and his passion for building. Most of all, Steve enjoys leading teams of people to accomplish great things in engineering and construction. In the last five years of his career, he’s constructed over 1.3 million square feet of industrial buildings, over 170 senior living units, and over 110 hospitality units.
Steve began his career in construction management after attending the University of Missouri where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Devin Schuster brings an innate understanding of the commercial real estate industry and how to maximize the opportunities within it. Devin has secured over $400 million in transactions across more than 35 states.
Devin focuses his talents on identifying, acquiring and managing new investments and developments. He has found a particular propensity for creating value-add opportunities on his projects through new development, redevelopment and creative financing solutions. By creating strategic partnerships and thoughtful deal structures, Devin has a proven track record of successful projects.
His industry experience includes industrial, hospitality, retail shopping center repositioning, multifamily and mixed-use properties, and ranges from new, ground-up development projects to the disposition of stabilized investments.
CONTROLLER AND VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
A licensed CPA, Jordan has significant experience in many consulting capacities and brings a multitude of accounting and operational knowledge to the Flint team. Jordan began her accounting career in auditing for one of the largest public accounting firms. There, she improved internal controls and systems for a variety of companies by planning, organizing, and administering all facets of audit engagement and consulting.
She transitioned to the private sector by joining a high-frequency equity trading firm and managed financial reports and analysis, taxes, legal necessities, and compliance. She was quickly promoted to oversee and manage a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of real estate investments, stock portfolio performance, venture capital deals, and more. Throughout her career, Jordan has proved herself a valuable team member; her role at Flint is no exception.
DIRECTOR OF MULTIFAMILY
Kale has a distinguished track record in commercial real estate. His primary functions at Flint include the procurement, review, and analysis of potential development projects, detailed financial modeling, and transaction valuation and execution. Over the course of his career, Kale has been involved in the acquisition or disposition of over 3.3 million square feet of commercial assets in the office and industrial classes and over 1,680 multifamily units: exceeding a total value of $650 million in closed transaction volume.
In 2021, Kale was selected by the Kansas City Business Journal as a Heavy Hitter in Commercial Real Estate. He was also recognized by CoStar in Q1 2021 as a Power Broker for an industrial disposition and was selected by Ingram’s Magazine 20 in their Twenties, class of 2021.
Kale received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown after serving as a Combat Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army.
Nick’s high analytical acumen and attention to detail shine at Flint. Nick joined the team after serving as a financial controller for a Fortune 500 industry leader in heavy civil construction. There he managed over $700 million in project revenue and regularly forecasted and controlled over $600 million in job costs, including job-owned equipment, direct labor, indirect labor, and buyouts. He has also worked in corporate tax facilitating personal property tax returns and sales, while also using tax incentives for construction projects across North America.
Nick excels at finding solutions to mitigate waste and cost overruns through real-time cost, budget reporting, and forecasting, often using SQL and Powerbi to enhance reports. His expertise is highly valued at Flint; he is involved in every project.
Maddy Towns joined the Flint team and quickly proved her ability to help run the business smoothly, efficiently, and accurately with high attention to detail across essential areas like accounting, human resources, and marketing. A systematic planner and effective in building strong relationships, Maddy is reliable, trustworthy, and a valuable member of the Flint team.
Before pivoting to the real estate sector, Maddy began her career with a Fortune 500 company in pharmaceuticals where she gained project and client management experience developing strong client relationships implementing new technology in the pharmacology industry. Maddy graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Communication and Media Studies.
